Co-curricular and Service Learning Courses (CSLCs)

GEM Co-curricular and Service Learning Courses

Experiential and Service Learning (ESL) is composed of Co-curricular and Service Learning Courses (CSLCs) and Experiential Learning Courses on Entrepreneurship and Innovation (ELCs on E&I).

CSLCs provide students with an opportunity to engage in learning in action and through actions in real-life or work-place context while complementing, connecting with, and mirroring their learning experiences derived from formal curriculum.

For 2025/26 admitted cohort and onwards, students from 5-year Double Degree and 4-year non-BEd FYFD programmes are required to take one 2-cp CSLC to fulfill their partial requirements in GE.
